Physical education candidates use effective communication and pedagogical skills and strategies to enhance student engagement and learning.
During EDU 355: Phys Ed Curriculum Plan & Practice, I have been placed at Smith Elementary to assist and observe a 5Th grade Physical Education class. This experience puts me in the teacher roll allowing me to instruct my student on a variety of skills. Our unit is Gymnastics, the abundant amount of equipment allows me to introduce new skills to my students, as well as different ways to experience the skill to the because not everyone is the same and nobody learns the same.
